The Catholic Cemetery Conference was founded in 1949 by a group of diocesan cemetery directors to exchange information and establish guidelines for Catholic cemeteries. CCC is under the guidance of the United States Catholic Conference and our Episcopal Moderator is chosen from the hierarchy and serves on the Administrative Board.

The Catholic Cemetery Conference is the oldest and largest Catholic cemetery association servicing Catholic cemeterians nationally and internationally. The conference strives . . .

  • To provide a forum for the discussion and dissemination of all phases of Catholic cemetery development, management, operation and maintenance.
  • To promote high standards of cemetery management and operation consistent with Christian service to the Catholic community.
  • To assist personnel in the continuous improvement of cemetery services in the respective Catholic cemeteries they serve.
  • To foster and promote the religious, charitable and educational interests of Catholic cemeteries and the Catholic community they serve.

The Catholic Cemetery Conference serves as the vehicle through which individual members can share problems, explore solutions, work together and communicate with each other to meet today’s challenges.
